1. Software Overview

1.1 Licensed Software

This Agreement grants you the right to use the Zioan Digital Workspace Platform ("Software"), a comprehensive self-hosted productivity and collaboration platform that includes:

• Docker containerization for easy setup and management
• Real-time collaboration capabilities across all applications

• Enterprise-grade security with role hierarchy
• Complete data ownership and control

1.2 Deployment Model

The Software is provided as a self-hosted solution deployed on your own infrastructure using Docker containerization, giving you complete control over your data and environment.

2.4 User Definition

A "User" is any individual who has been granted access credentials to the Software, regardless of frequency of use. The Zioan subscription includes unlimited users and unlimited guest users at no additional cost.

3. Payment and Renewal Terms

• Payment Methods: Credit card or PayPal

3.2 Cancellation and Non-Renewal

• Your Installation Keeps Running: Your Zioan installation continues to work on your server with the features and version you had at the time of cancellation
• Your Data Stays: Your data and workspace stay exactly where they are, on your server, under your control
• No New Updates: No access to new releases, features, or improvements
• No Priority Support: No email support after subscription expires
• Resubscribe Anytime: You can resubscribe at any time to pick up updates and support again

3.3 Purchase Terms and Refunds

We believe our comprehensive 30-day trial provides you with ample opportunity to thoroughly evaluate Zioan and make a confident purchase decision. This trial period includes full access to all features, allowing you to test the software with your actual data and workflows.

4. Your Rights and Responsibilities

• Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the Software

• Reverse engineer or decompile the Software

• No Data Access: Zioan Software Solutions cannot access, read, or use your data in any way
• Data Portability: Export your data anytime in standard formats

Limited License Communication

The software includes minimal "call home" functionality for essential operations only:

While your license is active, you receive:

6.2 When Your Subscription Expires

7. Warranties and Commitments

7.1 Bug Reporting and Resolution Commitment

Your Responsibility: Report any software bugs, errors, or functionality issues with sufficient detail for us to understand and reproduce the problem.

Our Commitment: During your active license period, we commit to:

• Acknowledge bug reports within 48 hours
• Prioritize resolution based on issue severity
• Communicate progress updates on resolution status
• Deliver fixes through regular updates or emergency patches
• Work diligently to resolve issues within reasonable timeframes

Our Resolution Targets

• Critical Issues (software unusable, data at risk): 5 business days
• Major Problems (important features non-functional): 15 business days
• Minor Issues (small functionality problems): 30 business days
• Enhancements (feature improvements): Next major release

7.2 Software Warranty

We warrant that the Software will perform substantially as described in our documentation when used under normal operating conditions.

8. Liability Limitations

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any issue related to the Software cannot exceed the annual subscription fee you paid for the current subscription period.

8.2 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Proper Installation: Following setup instructions and system requirements
• Data Backups: Regular backups of your important data
• Hosting Infrastructure: Selecting and maintaining reliable hosting services for your Zioan installation. Service interruptions, outages, or issues resulting from your hosting provider or infrastructure are outside our control and responsibility
• Infrastructure Management: Maintaining your server environment
• Security: Securing your installation and user access
• Access Control Validation: Regularly reviewing and confirming that users have appropriate access levels
• Compliance: Following applicable laws and regulations

9. Subscription Duration and Renewal

9.1 How Your Subscription Works

• Subscription Period: One (1) year from purchase/activation date
• Renewal: Renew annually to continue receiving updates and priority support
• Cancel Anytime: No long-term commitment required
• Price Flexibility: Subscription prices may change (with 60 days advance notice)

• Technical Support: Priority email assistance for any issues

10. Legal Terms

We may update this Agreement with 30 days written notice to your email address. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. You may terminate if you disagree with changes.

10.2 Complete Agreement

This Agreement represents the complete terms between us regarding the Software. It supersedes any previous agreements, discussions, or communications about Zioan.

10.3 Severability and Assignment

If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest remains valid. You cannot transfer this license without our written consent. We may transfer our rights with 30 days notice.

4. Go to Update Manager in your Zioan installation and check for updates
5. Your subscription will automatically validate
